How booking works

  1. Choose your dates and party size. Enter check-in, check-out and how many adults and children are travelling. Availability updates in real time.
  2. Compare the available suites. Each result shows the size, bedrooms, bed setup and total price for your stay, including any additional guests.
  3. Confirm and pay. Complete your details, review the total and confirm. You will receive your reservation by email straight away.

Check-in and check-out

Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM. If you expect to arrive late, let us know when you book and we will arrange it. There is English and Spanish speaking staff on site.

Our suites

Five oceanfront suites, sleeping from two to eight guests. All of them face the Pacific and include a full kitchen, private outdoor space and access to the shared facilities.

  • Colibri Suite — one bedroom, 79 m², sleeps up to 6, private patio and terrace.
  • Mariposa Suite — two bedrooms, 85 m², sleeps up to 8, two bathrooms, washer and dryer.
  • Panda Rojo Suite — Asian-inspired two bedroom, 79 m², sleeps up to 6, two private ocean-view patios.
  • La Mision Suite — our largest at 102 m², two bedrooms, sleeps up to 6, private patio.
  • Bella y Bestia Suite — one bedroom for two, king bed, private patio and terrace.

What is included

Every reservation includes the shared facilities: a rooftop terrace with infinity pool, two jacuzzis, sauna, outdoor kitchen and bar, and a garden patio with BBQ grill, Traeger smoker, fire pit and seating. Free parking on site, fast mesh wifi throughout, beach access, and extra pillows, towels and bedding whenever you need them.

Group bookings and full property rental

The rooftop seats up to 70 and the garden patio up to 50, which makes El Capitan a good fit for family reunions, micro weddings, product launches and private parties. The whole property can also be rented at once — get in touch and tell us what you have in mind.

Changes and cancellations

You can cancel free of charge up to 3 days before arrival. Cancellations made within 1 day of arrival are charged 50% of the total. Changes to your reservation are free of charge up to 10 days before arrival.

Getting here

We are in Playas de Rosarito, Baja California, halfway between Rosarito and Ensenada. The Puerto Nuevo lobster village is 3 minutes away, and the Valle de Guadalupe wine region is about 40 minutes by car. Restaurants, groceries, ATMs and a gas station are all within a few minutes. Ask us about wine tour options when you finalise your reservation.
